Storefronts, offices, warehouses and multi-unit buildings. The commercial work that actually gets called in is rarely dramatic: a rekey the day someone leaves, a door closer that has given up, or exit hardware that will not pass an inspection.
Master key systems
A master key system means one key opens everything and each individual key opens only what it should. A manager carries one key instead of eleven; a cleaner carries a key that opens the offices but not the safe room.
The value is in the planning rather than the hardware. Designed properly it grows with you for years. Designed badly it collapses the first time you add a suite and have to rekey the building.

Rekey when someone leaves
The end of employment is the most common commercial call we take, and the one most often left too late. Rekeying keeps your existing hardware and simply retires every old key — far cheaper than replacing locks, and quick enough to do outside trading hours.
If keys have gone missing over several years and nobody knows how many are out there, that is the moment to move to a master key system rather than rekeying the same tangle again.
Exit hardware and code
Panic hardware exists so people can get out of a building under pressure, and it is inspected on that basis. Padlocked fire exits and chained bars are the failures that close premises down. If a door is being propped or chained because the hardware does not work properly, fix the hardware.

Common questions
Can you rekey our building after an employee leaves?
Yes, and it is usually the cheapest option. Your existing locks stay and every old key stops working. It can be scheduled outside trading hours.
What is a master key system?
One key opens everything while each individual key opens only what it should. It is worth designing properly at the start so it can grow with the business.
Do you fit panic bars and exit devices?
Yes, including replacing hardware that will not pass inspection. Exit doors have to open freely from inside, which is why chaining them is never a fix.
Can you work outside business hours?
We are open daily 5:30am to 11:30pm, so early-morning and evening work before opening or after closing is usually straightforward.
